Privacy Policy

FAO Final Review ("the Service") is operated by InGenius Prep ("we", "us"). This policy describes what information we collect when you use the Service at faofinalreview.com and how we handle it.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name and email address, used to create and secure your account and to send you Service notifications.
- Application materials — documents you upload for review (essays, application forms, activity lists) and the review feedback produced on them.
- Usage records — actions taken in the Service (submissions, reviews, messages), kept as an audit history of your review.
How we use it
- To provide the review service you purchased: routing materials to reviewers, producing and returning feedback, and scheduling any included follow-up.
- To assist our human reviewers, uploaded materials may be processed by an AI service (Anthropic) that generates a preliminary internal review. That output is only ever seen by our staff — never published, and not used by the AI provider to train models.
- To send transactional email about your review (status updates, deadline notices).
- We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except the service providers below.
Service providers
The Service runs on established infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf: Vercel (hosting and file storage), Neon (database), Clerk (sign-in), Anthropic (AI-assisted preliminary review), Resend (email delivery), Upstash (infrastructure), and Sentry (error monitoring). Each receives only what is necessary to perform its function.
Retention
Uploaded materials are retained while your review is active and for a limited period afterward, after which they are permanently deleted. You may request earlier deletion of your materials at any time using the contact below.
Security
Access to your materials is restricted to you, the reviewers assigned to your request, and our operations team. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls, and every access-relevant action is logged.
Your choices
You can request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate information, or deletion of your account and materials by contacting us. Google sign-in, if offered, is optional — you can always use email sign-in instead.
